Its sleek and angular design is eye catching and comes with three physical buttons. The power button, which also resumes the cleaning, a mop button that doubles as a child-lock and a home button to bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank will empty itself and the bin is auto-refilling. The only issue I have discovered with this model was that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if necessary), it's a pain to take off the mount itself to wash manually. I've found any plush carpet that the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mounts, which can cause scratches. The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can set up and manage these using the Roborock app that is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor the battery life and maintain your components. You'll need to jump through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise. 3. Dreame X40 The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a market leader with innovative features, superior suction power, and advanced mowing capabilities. Its innovative design allows for customised and efficient cleaning while saving you time. The X40 is the first robotic vacuum cleaner to provide 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which easily makes it one of the top options available. This powerful vacuum can clean up the dry mess, which includes pet hair and food particles. It comes with a mop that is top quality that cleans hard floors without the use of a pad. The X40 is also extremely quiet when in operation, with only occasional bursts during modes changes or self-maintenance. Another notable characteristic is the X40's extendable and liftable side brushes, which allows it to get into hard-to-reach corners and intimately clean curved furniture like table and chair legs. It also allows the robot to access furniture that is low-profile which makes it a great choice for small apartments and condos with tight spaces. The side brush automatically tilts down when it spots wet spots. This is a nice feature that allows the X40 to prevent damage to floors from the frequent back-and-forth movement. In contrast to other robots that only focus on one task, the X40 can perform both vacuuming and mopping at the same time or in a series. It can also be programmed to skip areas that have carpet and only mop hard floors, and vice versa. It can be controlled by the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operations. The app is simple to use and understand and the X40 comes with a variety of smart features that are simple to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, alter suction power and mode, view floor plans and mapping and manage mopping settings. The X40 will also keep track of its progress and notify you when it's done. The X40 is easy to keep clean and has many convenient features which make it a good option for busy families. The docking station automatically cleans the dustbin and the mop pads, then refill them with cleaning solution and fresh water. L20 Ultra The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available on the market. However, it has a number of characteristics that make it stand out.
